FOUNDER+COACH

Kelly Scullin is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) with deep experience in People and Culture disciplines across various industries – healthcare, insurance, and nonprofit alike. A builder of connection and driver of results, Kelly pairs a broad managerial perspective with interactive design thinking tools to chart inspired and actionable people strategies.

Life pointed Kelly to an HR career by accident; no sooner did she fall deeply and madly in love with the work that draws on both her identities as Logician and Creative. After her years of service to insurance giant American International Group (AIG), she joined the American Marketing Association (AMA) to build the HR discipline from the ground up, nurturing an organizational fitness approach that continues to use her foundation to yield high engagement, low turnover, and a rich community experience that boasts a 4.0 rating on Glassdoor.

Having coached in her professional roles for over 20 years, Kelly embarked on a profoundly meaningful career change, enrolling in Co-Active Professional Coach Training, widely recognized as the most rigorous professional coach training and certification program in the industry. As the largest and most established professional coach training organization in the world, Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) is home to the Co-Active Model, known as the most flexible and proven model in the coaching world.

Respected worldwide and dubbed by Harvard Medical School as the gold standard of coaching, her training and competence in this gorgeous model means that Kelly can skillfully coach any person on any topic, navigate conflict, design responses, and recover from triggered states. Adept at framing powerful questions that evoke conversations that cultivate trust, catalyze self-discovery, enhance insight, and inspire movement into bold action, she understands her impact on others and create conversations that deepen intimacy and trust.

Professionally Kelly is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM); personally, she is a member of the SMART recovery community and a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

A self-proclaimed Recovering Type A, Kelly uses motherhood, backpacking, games, travel, meditation, and more to nourish her growth, personally and professionally.
